Does Premium Processing of i-140 help the overall E1BC timeline?
Hi,
Does Premium Processing of i-140 help the overall EB1C(EB13) timeline?In other words, as i-485 needs i-140 to be approved, having i-140 done in a few weeks vs 1+ year, will help the overall timeline even if i-485 doesn't have premium processing option.
L1A to EB1C (EB13)
Argentina current date
My employer presented already i-140 in August/2023 and i-485/i-131/i-765 in November/2023
receipt date on i-140 is August 31st/2023
I was wrongly informed by the law firm that i-140 didn't have premium processing in August (while in fact, a note from January of 2023 from USCIS made it available also for EB13)

The premium processing will have them provide a response within 45 days. In my case it was approved in 3 days.

te ayuda solo para la I-140. No tiene nada que ver con el tiempo de procesamiento de la I-485

gracias @Oscar Pinzón , pero como la i-485 no empieza hasta tanto la i-140este aprobada, entonces ayuda en el tiempo total, me imagino, no?

thanks @cymro 85 . and will that also make the i-485 start to be processed sooner I guess, right? helping in the overall end to end timeline of the L1A to EB13 process.?

@Lolo Messi I filed i-485 a month or so after i-140 was approved and didn’t do simultaneous filing. Still waiting on i-485 approval after about 48 days. Hopefully soon!

my understanding is pp is not factored into the 485. pp is not available for that, only the 140

si claro, completamente. Tan pronto tu I-140 está aprobada puedes iniciar AOS con tu I-485; siempre en cuando esté current para tu país Argentina como es este el caso.
