Does changing address slows down your case?
Hi good people. I have a pending VAWA case since 2022. I changed my address in 2023 notified USCIS. Right now I am moving to another state because I have just secured a job in that state. Does changing address frequently slows down your cases or affects your chances in anyway? I worked so hard to get this job and an the same time, I also do care about my immigration applications. Is it safe to travel locally my Texas DL (Real ID) with my pending VAWA case? if I have to drive it will be 1 day and 10hours. what are thing things that i should have in hand when attempting to fly locally apart from my DL? thank you for you contribution all

Changing your address can slow down cases if your case requires an interview. If you move to a different city or state, sometimes USCIS has to send the file to a different office and there it gets assigned to a new officer, potentially going to the back of the to-do list. You can travel if you are legally in the country and you should carry proof of your pending case(s) with you.
