does anyone know how to check processing times for I 485 in nbc?
my ead was approved may 12, 2023 but the i131 still says case received. i485 was filed with ead and ap but I’m confused about the service center for eb1. it says nbc but there’s no option to select nbc in uscis case processing times. does anyone else have this issue or is it just me?

All I-485s typically are adjudicated in a field office - Which is why NBC is not one of the options in the USCIS website.
Talk to a live agent via Emma assistant to figure out if your case has been transferred to a field office. The case status will not reflect this sometimes (same in my case).

choose your field office and lawfully will show you the info again

I'm exactly in the same situation and looks like it is very usual. My submission date is 06 Dec 2022 (485, 131, 765) and EAD approved on May 11 without AP.

@Suzy K According to the USCIS guidelines if your case is processing at NBC then you have to check the processing time for your local USCIS field office. However, in recent times, cases are being sent from NBC to distant (nonlocal) field offices for processing. You can check with the live Emma agents to see if your case has been sent to any field office. What is not clear to me is whether one has to go by the processing time of the distant field office where the case has been sent because I have seen cases move back and forth between NBC and the field offices.

does emma respond to specific questions?
Selith HMay 24, 2023
@Suzy K If you type "Live chat" or "Connect to live chat" to Emma it will take you through a couple of steps and then connect you to a real person.

@J P where do you update the FO info? I only see SC list as an option?

looks like all of us In EB1 are in the same boat. my ead got approved 2 weeks back, but no news about i485 or i131 after finger printing in march.

@t d go to the 3 dots that are on the upper right in your case, and edit info, scroll and at the end you can choose the office where you’re case is. Choose the one that seems closer to your location
