Does anybody knows why my USCIS# changed? I was under the F1 visa and STEM OPT.
I have had EADs over the years because I attended to school in the US. I already had a USCIS# which shows up on my previous EAD. but this time my USCIS# changed on my new EAD and AP card under my 485 application. Has anyone experienced this? I don’t know if it matters but I was just curious why the change.

apparently they number that they give you on your F1 is a made up number but the one that they use for your I-485 is your real number.

I’m pretty sure I wrote my previous USCIS on the forms that I sent for my greencard application… so that’s why I’m confused why I have a new USCIS #

Same experience. USCIS# is your main number now.
