Do you think my case has moved faster than usual?
I was wondering if my case has been moving faster than it usually takes… Mine is based off on Marriage to a US Citizen. My PD is November 16th. I took my biometrics about 11 days ago and they had scheduled it only 4 days after my priority date.

yes I know, now I am scared does it really matter if petitioner is citizen or permanent resident? as my husband is permanent resident
M
Matheus SantosDec 29, 2021
if petitioner is a US Citizen it takes longer. When the petitioner is a permanent resident it usually takes twice as long.

yeah but for me it’s April pd 🤪 so compare to you it’s 4 times. I heard that the difference occurs only until to get biometrics because some citizen fillers who have same pd like me got biometrics before me

Your case should be very close to getting scheduled, I would say that yours would be scheduled sometime in the next 2-3 months. I am expecting mine to be scheduled around 4-5 months from now

did you file online ?? I means your receipt starts with IOE or MSC ?
M
Matheus SantosDec 29, 2021
I filled on paper. My case is probably IOE because it got scanned, that’s how USCIS is doing with the cases nowadays.
