Do I need to attach form I-508 to my I-485 application?

I’ve seen the USCIS checklist and the form is listed without mentioning “if applicable”. However, the instructions says it is for people with diplomatic rights. Any thoughts? Thank you!

only if you ever held a diplomatic visa. It is likely this doesn’t apply to you. But if it does, make sure to also include I-566. I had to submit both forms because I arrived on an A2 visa.
