@E L why such a dumb question ? you know fully well you fled persecution and on that basis you were granted asylum, meaning you can’t even go back home or use the passport of your home country due to asylum grant. All these are things that were communicated to you when you were granted asylum either by your lawyer or the immigration judge. So why act like you don’t know the consequences ? If you go then it simply means you obtained your asylum through fraud by lying to the US government. Additionally, your green card is coded AS6, which means that you obtained it through asylum if you were the principal grantee. To quench your stupidity maybe your naïveté, I would say yes you HAVE to use a refugee travel document to travel to and from the US until the day you become a US citizen. And if that happens then you can fly back home with the privilege and protection of the US government. You risk losing your green card if you try to go with the refugee travel document or the passport of your country.

So do you mean going back to the home country or any other third countries too?
E HopefulFeb 20, 2024
@don don You have to travel to any other countries with the Refugee Travel Document. You should not even try going to your home country until you become a US citizen.

Thanks for sharing. I did it on the App "Inmigra USA" the community of Immigrants in the United States. inmigrausa.com There are immigration lawyers and free collaborators. Stay up to date on news of interest to the Latino community. Search Inmigrate USA. I chose the Florida community, it looks like they are starting now, so I recommend you choose Florida. Busca inmigra USA el app del inmigrante, de verdad es muy buena tambien. Thanks!!!
