Yes you can now, just follow this: https://www.state.nj.us/mvc/pdf/license/Standard_License_Sheet_Engl.pdf You just need to meet the 6pts requirement, the easiest: -Foreign passport or Birth Cert (must be English) -Driver License from another state or Marriage Certificate -Bank statement -Lease, utility bills, W2, Taxes, paystubs As more documents/proofs is easily to meet the requirements. BTW there’s a lot of appointments available

hey guys, Renewed my license. I took pseg bill, passport, social security card (you can take w2 if you don't have social) and old license. Got temporary license at the moment, will get the 4 years license in mail. woop woop !!

May I know what county you are from? For ID purposes take that license, birth certificate/passport, ssn/w2 and utility bill/bank statement. You will have to take the computer test for sure. Just check if license from your country is accepted by dmv, If it is you won't have to take road test. I did back in 2017, I had license from India, They checked that and I was able get license without road test.

@clari Thank you!! So back in 2017 when I got my license I didn't have Ssn either. That time I had to get a letter from Ssn office saying they can not issue me an ssn. I am not sure if the rules are still the same, Since they just changed some document requirements this month. If they are you might be able to show something else in place of ssn.

@sherry Yes, My license was expired on 3/29/2021 along with my EAD card ( had Interview the same day but no decision yet) I was waiting for either GC or EAD. But then found out mvc was changing policies so got this shit done. 🥲 You can renew it, And you will get 4 years license Best wishes!! 🙌
