@jay jay yes I got the email after I sent them the documents they requested back in November. I was hoping it meant they will give me an answer. then I emailed them again weeks later then they said ur case is under AP

yeah, sadly no one knows how long it takes. some people a week some a month and some way more. So I guess nothing we can do from our end. good luck for everyone🌹

@jay jay yes not every week tho sometimes when I email them they update it the day they reply to me

@jay jay make sure to put ur case number as the subject in the email

@jay jay yes they don’t help speed up the process but they email the embassy for you and they get the same reply but it kinda helps bc it gets the embassy to focus on ur case but for some ppl it don’t help at all

have they requested any other evidence from you? my husband is in Ap too he had his interview on the 16th was the officer that interviewed yours the white guy? he was very rude to us

My wife got yellow 221g asked her to submit her kids citizenship because all my kids are citizens I sent them same day how long is expected to wait she did not put her on ap she just wrote on the yellow slip send children CRBa that’s it

@c e my husband interview was November 1st and it was a lady who interviewed him and requested for more proof of relationship documents or other proof

@Ramona Aaron do they update the day on CEAC? my husbands interview was the 16th and they only requested DS 5535 for AP. they update the date on CEAC like every other day and I don’t understand why

@c e if they update it a lot that’s is a good thing it means they are working on ur case in sha allah soon you hear good news be patient in sha allah everything will work out

@tt kk I have been waiting for 6 months. they put my mom under administrative processing they told us to fill the 5535 form. still waiting, hopefully we get a response soon.

@Wind Master she got the email in May after waiting over 6 months

@Wind Master yes they got the email May 15 and submitted their passport and got their visa. she replied June 25 they’ve been got the visa

One year and 3 months under AP 221g 😔
