divorce after 10 years green card
Hi folks I got my ten year card about a month ago now my marriage is falling apart I think my wife is jealous about me getting 10yrs green card as I was denied first time because of long form birth certificate during Covid now getting divorce will affect my path to citizenship? please help.

if you have 10 years Green card in your hand or approved, the different will be getting the citizenship in 5 years instead 3 years

It’s not gonna affect a single damn thing even if she decides to get a divorce. You’ll only have to wait for the 5 year rule to file your citizenship.

the 3 yrs in the marriage or 5yrs without the marriage started counting when you got the green card ,ask your lawyer for clarification
