Did my I-130visa take longer than it supposed to.
I applied for an I-130 visa in March 2022 with a priority date of March 2022 when I was 20. I'm now 22, but my status hasn't changed. Is my case still reviewed under F2A (under 21), and how long should I expect this process to take? And can I ask for a case inquiry, I applied at the Nebraska Office.

does it mean it is going to take longer

You will remain in F2A status for now. Once you receive approval, the situation will become clearer. The delay works in your favor because the time until the petition is approved will be deducted. Currently, your Priority Date (PD) is current. When your petition is approved, you will have one year to enter the USA or apply for an adjustment of status to benefit from the provisions of the Child Status Protection Act (CSPA).

@Adee BR what in the world are you talking about? 1) His PD is March 22 which us NOT current. 2) not everyone gets 1 year to enter the country, I got 90 days.

The date of filing is current for him.
