almost 2 years for me

it's for form I485, they needed the affidavit of support form, along with my wife's birth certificate. they received it May 24th it's July 29 today

so I gave them my birth certificate on October 17, 2023. they looked at it on May 1, 2024 and they are finally in the process of approving my 485 now (130 was approved Friday). not trying to scare you though my timeline is not typical. but it’s felt like FOREVER. if your RFE went to the field office it will be quicker than mine because it was at NBC for over a year

I had an RFE on 485 for medical and financials in June 2023 which I responded in July 2023. no movement till may 2024 for an interview.

@Lo Nguyen ahhhhh yep. I’m a ball of nerves right now. my husband doesn’t understand why lol. I know an officer looked at my case on Friday but it didn’t go into active review. I just don’t get why… spending a lot of time imagining anything I’ve ever done wrong in my life 😂😂😂

I had a RFE in January I responded at the same month, still nothing until now.

I'm only scared because they gave me until Aug 29, 2024. it's August 2 and they didn't even let me know they received it. at least let me know you have received it.

update. but we got approved officially today
