Once you change your address you will experience delays. I never moved while my case was processing but a friend did and it caused significant delays.

@Lee bear My case is at Boston Field Office, but I don’t live in Massachusetts (I live in another state). I think I am in a final countdown as I sent my medical RFE to Boston Office. My EAD hasn’t approved yet and it is taking a financial hardship because I am a widow with two kids.

@Faithful God at this point of your application, I will advice U do not indicate address change since your case is already at the field office cos it will cause a whole lot delay if U do. U are at the last process of your case so stay put until it's over.

@Faithful God U are on a cue, if U change your line, U will definitely start from behind. Nobody will move your case forward ahead of the people that were on the same cue.If U change your address from Massachusetts to whatever state U are currently in, your Field Office/local office will definitely change which will definitely cause a lot of delay for U.

@JENNIE . I don’t live in Massachusetts. I currently reside in Georgia. My case got transferred from NBC to Boston a couple of month ago.

@JENNIE . well, I do not understand why a case will be transfered to a Field Office that have nothing to do with me. My case was transferred from NBC to Queens which is my field/local office, when the finish, the transfer it back to NBC.

@JENNIE . What do you think will happen if I move…..even though my cases are not my local field office. Sounds like Boston Field Office will make a final decision on my I-485. At least, my medical RFE said that they will make a final decision on I-485.
