file separately

let your mom file for your sister if not it will take longer years(10-13yrs) for it to get approved but if your mom file for her is less years (4-7yrs).

when they say derivative, it means your own immediate family, if you are married. it only relates to you, for example, if you are married and filing for your wife or unmarried and filing for your fiancé, her child is her derivative…that’s the only way you can file for a derivative. in either case.

file them separately at the same time, if she’s underaged she won’t have to wait 10 years
