yes, they will be derivative of your application. but if they "aged-out" before the approval most likely they can't.

Yes it is true and also my 3 kids was mentioned in my prima facia evidence letter. I was so happy bcos I did not file vawa for them before. I just mentioned there names in the I 485 of marriage greencard application. So when they sent me my PFE they included their names there as the derivative children of the pending Americian. since they are out of the country you cannot file for I-485. you have to wait for your vawa to get approved and file ds-260 to file for immigrant visa to come here.
