what was your RFE for 765? can you submit a service inquiry since it’s been over 60 days since your response to them?

I made a mistake on the category section, instead of filing it under category c9 I filed as an international student. So I submitted a letter explaining to them and my form I-485 receipt notice. Never heard from them since then.

I’ve been calling them since October, and they keep submitting the service inquiry. This is the 3rd time now.

USCIS can’t approve incorrect form so you need to send them a revised correct form with a letter explaining the situation to be updated to your records.

Do I need to correct the whole form or just the incorrect page? because I did attach the incorrect page only.

I’d suggest to revise the whole form with new form version and ur sign date. Select 1a cuz this is ur first ead for gc. If you were previously issued ead for f1, h1 etc visas, mention your alien number in 8, uscis ac number in 9, ssn in 13b, etc and select 12 as yes. Attach all supporting documents. Attach petitions’ receivings letters and also write letter explaining your situation. Providing maximum documentation is better than getting rfe. Mail hard copies of form, supporting docs, and letter and also attach entire pack on uscis online account.
