@bella bella go to the eoir portal and you will find options either as an applicant or a lawyer and you will create your own portal and submit all necessary documents with your address,alien or social security number and your current with your phone number and submit…they court will contact you through mail and email..

the lawyer does not know what to tell you.. that not good. yall need to post the names of these lawyer they don't care about people just their money.. you have to get a lawyer to advise you in a situation like this.. happy your vacation was approved.

@ you can definite terminate your removal proceeding with the court. I did that in May. juts have your lawyer do a motion to terminate your case with the court, if the court and prosecutor join you in this matter, then you case will be dismissed. I advice to do it as soon as possible.

@Retired Ninja honestky, it was very quick, less than 3 weeks. i think it dependes on the court, some states have very efficient judges.

@Romeo riv I think it’s better if you have it terminated so you can at least apply for adjustment of status. don’t believe everything your attorneys says, I still have my vawa pending and I still was able to have the judge join my motion. it doesn’t hurt to try.

@ Belle Belle. You have two options after your VAWA is approved. You can either terminate your removal proceedings based on approved VAWA to continue your I 485 with USCIS or just file a motion to the judge that you want to adjust your status in court. If you chose to adjust in court, file a copy of the I 485 you filed to USCIS if you had filed already to the court and a copy to USCIS Texas service center to issue you another receipt that carries the Texas service center. The reason to file a copy to that Texas service center is because anyone adjusting through the immigration court must send a copy to that center because the judge will ask if a copy was sent to them first. Adjusting in court is faster because if all your documents are ready to go, you can file a motion to the judge again to expedite your I 485 in court. I did that. I adjusted in court after my VAWA was approved and we filed a motion for a quicker date which the judge approved in a matter of days. During the hearing, the judge didn't say anything, she just only approved the I 485 and asked me to call USCIS to print the card. But make sure you use a very good and professional lawyer who understands immigration court because my lawyer is very good. He deals with the hardest of cases in immigration courts and he has won a lot of those cases. Good luck...I hope my opinion helps.
