dependent wife 485 pending; primary approved
hello
my 485 just got approved (Eb1C row). had filed all in parallel with my spouse in December. we did biometrics together, got EADs a few days apart, and even “case trf to another office” update together back in April. her application is still at that old status.
any experiences? what can we do / expect? lawyers said this is normal and no estimated timelines when spouse will be approved as well

congratulations on your approval. can you please share your timeline. I filed in December as well concurrently and waiting for my 485 approval.

biometrics 24 jan
I-140 approved 28 Feb (paid PP once eligible)
765 EADs end of March
transferred to new office (NBC) on 3 April
485 approved (primary only) - 2 July

@M K Thanks for sharing and congratulation again. My case is very similar filed on 9-Dec 2022, all other approvals adjacent to yours. if I may ask, what is your country of origin. mine is India where the priority date is not current.

yes, but I wouldn’t worry too much if you were approved only a week ago, you have still good chances of your spouse’s approval without interview
