My case went to NVC how long does it take until my home countrys embassy sends a letter with more instructions when the NVC is done? l didnt recieve a case number from the NVC.

I received the letter from the NVC in 3 days with the new case number and the invoice ID number

hm weird its three weeks and we got only the letter from the uscis with the approval notice but nothing from the nvc yet. the nvc disabled the phone connections…

when the case status updates to ‘sent to department of state’ you will get the welcome email within 24 hours. if it’s been longer then contact the NVC via the inquiry form (use your USCIS case number on the form in place of an NVC number)
