denied i485 after approval of i130
So i got an email from uscis field office asking for my medical rfe and any additional evidence to support i130 in March. on april 3 i mailed everything with copy of email attached and it was received the following day by uscis. 2 weeks later my 130 got approved and my 485 went to “actively being reviewed “. I got another notice in the mail asking for the same medical rfe i sent already. went back to the office and they gave me another copy that I sent on May 3rd. yesterday I got a letter saying that my 485 was denied because I didn’t respond to rfe so case was considered abandoned. has that happened to anyone? what do i do now?

you have tow option either you ask them to reopen the same case or apply for new one also new one can be more faster

book and info pass, visit USCIS office to sort it out, the officer made a mistake not you, take your evidence with you or contact CIS Ombudsman’s Office they will write the officer immediately.

Appeal takes time, your lawyer can write them to reopen the case because they made a mistake, you can also call the office Ombudsman, they will write USCIS immediately to correct the mistake, you can also call for info pass to meet the officer, you have many good options on the table.

appeal it’s their fault they did the same with my mom and they reopen the case and approved it 17days later

thank you for all the advice guys. I went to my field office yesterday and got to speak to a supervisor. handed him both receipts to say it was sent and delivered. He took it and said he will reopen the case. This morning it was updated to evidence received. hopefully I get an approval soon.

thank you for the update. That's good they approved. hopefully, you will get your card soon. I am still waiting for notice or anything… it's been almost two months( request to reconsider).

hi @A A which your Field Office adjudicated your case. Can you please give me the details how you can meet the supervisor and give him the Evidences?
Supervisor is the one give the denied the decision on your case?
