delay processing
my husband submitted his I-485 and it was delivered to Chicago lockbox on Apr16,2024. No update since then and looks like service centers are closed from Apr 1. and now they are sending all documents to lockbox locations. Which it will cause some delays from USCIS to issue a receipt# I think.

i sent my I-485 on 27th march to uscis. it was delivered on 29th march,2024 to chicago lockbox. but still haven’t received any receipt number. thank you for this update. i was worried.

@jhanvi desai but I think you need to contact uscis lockbox via email to see if they have any update. The service they provided to us is crazy yet we paid lots of money on this! But hope you should receive an update soon🙏🏻🙏🏻

yes i have contacted them. but automated email reply was received and it said that i will receive a email response within 30 days. thank you.

same, been waiting for 3 months without receipt. I don’t really know what to do. I have called and as well sent emails to lockbox but no response. I’m worried tbh
