delay delay and kee wating after 11 month of second interview
We must apologize, due to unprecedented processing delays at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and the resulting volume of requests for case assistance we receive, the CIS Ombudsman’s Office has not yet been able to take action on your request. For your information, we are temporarily prioritizing those requests in which our intervention may be most effective. Those include requests involving:
non-receipt of USCIS notices or decisions;
cases where a noncitizen will “age-out” within 90 days;
certain cases involving U.S. military personnel and their families;
clear USCIS error;
individuals in removal proceedings with a hearing scheduled within 6 months;
delays with USCIS sending an approved petition to the U.S. Department of State’s National Visa Center; and
expedite requests approved by USCIS more than 2 months ago.

@ mr boo boo, I literally would file mandamus as well. But they are to reschedule the interview in 120 days, so I’ll just wait

I’m confused. what is your request? outside normal processing time?
ghh cvhFeb 9, 2022
oh my bad, I was talking about renewal of EAD taking over 15 months vs mandamus, nothing to do with interview rescheduling- that is totally up to their discretion.

@ryan yes outside processing

@ghh yes I understand
Ryan’s journey 111Feb 9, 2022
@mr Boo Boo but, you didn’t receive a decision after your interview, did you? it means your request is supposed to fall under the first one in the Ombudsman’s priority list. if so, why can they not help you out? did I misunderstand what they told you?

Ryan’s journey 111Feb 9, 2022

done, not doneFeb 24, 2022
I had my interview 14 months ago and still waiting. a few months back I reached out to ombudsman that took 2 months to respond. then they said they would contact USCIS on my behalf, then after a month they said USCIS did not respond and they would send a follow up enquiry. after one more month the ombudsman sent me an email saying that the USCIS replied that my case is under active review. now it has been 2 months since this last email and nothing. when o open outside of normal processing times requests they say it is pending background check. my application is from 2017, so I mean come on people.
