Decision Status Increased Significantly
I’m a Canadian citizen and my spouse is American who is sponsoring me.
We filed 1-130, 1-145, I-785 in August 2023. I was approved for I-785 (EOD) in November 2023 and received my EOD Card mid November 2023.
As of 1 week ago, our I-130 & I-485 decision status was 1 week away from being approved/denied.
As of yesterday, May 1st 2024, my case approval/denial decision time increased to 3 months.
We were both told that we wouldn’t be schedule for an interview, and our supporting evidence, which was completed in January 2023, was sufficient.
I was looking forward to visiting my family in Canada, but it looks like that won’t be happening anytime soon.
On the USCIS website, it says Concurrent Filing which I’ve never seen before.
🙏 I can visit my family in 🇨🇦 for Father’s Day this year.

First, that thing can't be trusted. It's an estimate, not definite, but it's a very inaccurate estimate. That being said, adding documents seems to make it jump 2-3 months. So start checking the documents tab because it could be something coming. It's not guaranteed though.

😏 after completing three month it jumped to 5 .. I just stopped thinking home rather than trying to pay rent lol

it’s an estimate and it’s massively inaccurate. I will say I’m Canadian and I’ve been waiting 11.5 months now… expect to wait a year these days
