DATA (For SRC) / Texas
I've been reviewing some data from this website:
https://public.tableau.com/app/profile/nagesh8819
it seems the best and most updated one I've seen so far FOR TEXAS CENTER.
some info I've collected (take it with a grain of salt):
in the past month:
1. only 10% of the expedite requests were approved.
2. More than 1700 people received an update to show "fingerprints were taken".
3. Jan 07 had the biggest movimentation of the month, with at least 178 I-765 cases approved that day.
4. more than 100 cases were transferred to another office.
5. Almost 100 EAD cards delivered everyday (except Sundays).
6. it seems SRC is NOT recieving new cases since Jun 2021.
7. We can expect at least 200 GC to be approved this month.
8. For the past 3 months, Texas Service Center has been approving more than 3000 EAD/month. That's around 150 cards/business day.
Now, some data that isn't too clear, but I hope to get more used to it in the next days so I can give better predictions:
It seems SRC is actively reviewing two big chunks of applications: The ones with receipt date around the end of 2020, and around Feb 2021.
Lots of SRC219016 / SRC219017 being reviewed. (GC)
They seems to be STARTING on some SRC219024. (EAD)
big chunk of SRC219022 being reviewed. (EAD)
These are preliminary findings. It give us some info for case numbers starting on SRC2190XXX but not for SRC212XXX. Just for comparison, my number is SRC2126XX, so "in the end of the line", cause I'm Jun, and it's compared to a SRC219025.
I can try to explain more if someone is interested.
hope the review is helpful.

Mrs BJan 10, 2022
@cg you got EAD already? what was your last update? is it family or EB?
CG 7Jan 10, 2022
No, not yet. I got my first one last year within 8-10 weeks, the renewal is taking forever - now in month 11. Employment Based.
Mrs BJan 10, 2022
@dana it could happen that you get the GC before the EAD... they are doing November GC cases now. But I would say it would take till March....
CG 7Jan 10, 2022
I think I have a chance of getting GC before EAD, GC is outside normal processing and under SR. Feb 20th, 2020 was my PD for GC.
Mrs BJan 10, 2022
@fuki your number means your case was received on the 033 day of the 2022 fiscal year. So I guess they received in December 21, correct?
Dana ChitfosJan 10, 2022
@tess b I didnāt know that, I thought they are processing May 2020. That would be awesome.

@adriana your receipt is from the 230th day of the fiscal year, that starts on October 1. So I guess you're April filler?

@ash my pleasure! would you mind sharing your info, so we can have more data on it? good luck!!!
kal bJan 10, 2022
@tess my receipt date is actually 15th of april 2021
Mrs BJan 10, 2022
@dana there are many things that influence the timeline. i.e. the first approvals are usually expedite, then the family based, than EB1... So EB2 and EB-3 usually start getting processed, I would guess, after the first 30% of the processes are done.
Mrs BJan 10, 2022
@fuki I'll keep on eye on any movimentation! ā¤ļø

@tess b My EAD receipt no is SRC219026. I do not understand how you determine the filing date if USCIS fiscal year starts in Oct. Can you illustrate with my receipt no and when do you think my case will be approved?
Mrs BJan 11, 2022
@cjay I'll do some more research to see if we can estimate better. but your receipt date determines your number. So, it's July maybe?
Mrs BJan 11, 2022
@cjay Fiscal year starts 01 October. But you can only see the fiscal year on the receipt if it starts with SRC210 ou 211 OR 212 OR 213. if it starts with SRC9 it's just a rolling number.
Cjay EzJan 11, 2022
@tess b Quite close. The receipt date for my case was June 30th. Based on that, it seems the USCIS fiscal year starts in March
Cjay EzJan 11, 2022

hello tess b , my case starts with SRC 211235ā¦. what can you explain?
Ana G CJan 15, 2022
@Dana Chitfos your case is pretty similar to mine. case SRC2190177XXXX. EB2-NIW PD Feb 1st 2021. I have applied concurrently for i140/i485/i765/i131. Nothing appoved yet. Emma told me bio for EAD were reused and applied in March 2021 to my i765 case but my case status changed for the first time to fingerprints applied on Dec 30. Biometrics for i-485 taken on Nov 2021 but case status didn't change. Hopefully Dec 30 change means they are doing something with our case.
Ana G CJan 15, 2022
@tess b I also check tableu frequently and sometimes is confusing. They were stopped in end Oct cases for months. Now at least you can see cases from later, but they jump to March cases without finishing Dec, Jan or Feb cases. So confusing.
Mihai pJan 16, 2022
Iām checking every day the USCIS site. Today I read (again) their processing time dedicated page. They are saying clearly that the first value of the interval represents the number of months it takes to process 50% of the cases, and the second one corresponds to 93% of the cases. If thatās true, then it means USCIS must have processed 93% of all I-485 up to June 2020. Is that true?
Mrs BJan 16, 2022
@mihai I think they are late. there are many little things to consider that aren't explicit. for i-765 they are only now reaching November 2020 for 50%.
wsl xvJan 22, 2022
@tess How do you know that they will approve EADs next month?
Dana ChitfosJan 22, 2022
I think that it is hard to predict EADās approval since they are moving back with inquiry dates every month, not to mention that they worked on Oct 2020 applications for 6 months. When I applied in Dec 2020, the processing time for EAD was 6 months, and I was ready to wait until June 2021 to get mine. Itās January 2022, and USCIS didnāt start with December yet. I think we need some miracle, like a premium process for EAD or collapse with shortage workes to sober up government to do something.
fuki kekeJan 22, 2022
The system is crap , if you can get premium processing for some EAD renewal despite the huge back up why can't they just open the system up for every one . Am on L2 and my hubby renewed is L1B with premium processing despite we applied together , they approve his less than 14days and mine is till pending for the fourth month , i94 expires in less than 2 weeks . I need a miracle
Tired of refreshing. comšŖ

Mihai pFeb 11, 2022
@Tess b: I saw a post you wrote yesterday on I-765 but for some reason I canāt comment there. first of all, many thanks for taking the time to prepare the analysis. I have one question regarding the 2400 combinations you mentioned: why for a series of letās say SRC209030XXXX are 2400 combinations? I get 10000, not 2400...
Mrs BFeb 11, 2022
@mihai no problem! check https://hilites.today/. 10000 are all the possible types of requests. on average, the i-765 account for 2400 of the 10000 numbers.
CG 7Feb 11, 2022
