Dallas interview
I just got approve on the spot yesterday #Dallas interview. It last about 10 mins. The interviewer was very friendly. He only ask for my full name, place of birth, time of marriage. He ask if this is our first time married. He ask for evidence which has our name on, but he only look at the tax transcripts and keep the other evidence. He did not request any additional document or photo. That's it. Card was produced on the same day. Feeling thankful and relief. Good luck to you all on your green card journeys!

how long did it take to receive your notice after from “interview was scheduled” online notice

My I-765 form was out of the processing time, so I call USCIS to let them know. By the way, I ask them about my I-485 form. They just told me to wait. After the phone call, I got my interview scheduled. Until now, my I-765 has not been approved yet.

Hi TB N, congrats. I had an interview too yesterday at Dallas fO. did your i30 get approved? My I485 got approved but I30 says interview was completed and case must be reviewed.

@Lemon juice, congratulations. if I485 is approved surely i130 must be approved because i485 is dependent on i130 and as such they can’t approve i485 without approving i130. it’s just that the system is yet to be updated on i130. Rejoice my dear. this September is for celebration for everyone in this immigration stuff. amen

@TB N were you out if status. My reason asking is because your spouse is a green holder. I would like to know if it makes a difference if you are in status or not

I'm still under my f1 visa. green card holder cannot petition out of status spouse. That what I've read.

@Blessed, does this apply to Green card holder sponse? think F2A catogory applixants have to maintain lawful status until green card

are you in lawful status? if you are and have ead approved you have authority to work. But if at interview officer finds out that you have been unlawfully present, your adjustment of status will be denied. Except in a case where your LPR spouse has since become a US citizen before interview.
