Technically, the USCIS has to provide you with a decision on your naturalization application within 120 days of your naturalization interview. In a green card application, the USCIS is supposed to provide you with an official notification of their decision within 30 days of your interview. But this is not always the case.

@Dallas aos I filed on June 29th, 2021, my 130 approved on Feb 1st, 2022, my 765 approved on Mar 28th, 2022, interview for my 485 on Dec 16th, 2021 and now I’m still waiting on a decision, my status only say “interview was scheduled” to this day

had my interview in Dallas on 5/5/22 and was given a verbal approval, case still says interview was scheduled.

Same Dallas AOD interview done on 05/20 Friday. the officer didn't say approval on the spot. 05/26 case status changed to new card being produced. 05/27 changed to case approved
