I already received my EAD combo card and SSN yesterday

Sep 29 - new card is being produced Sep 30 - case was approved Oct 4 - card was mailed to me Oct 5 - card was picked up by USPS Oct 7 - received both ssn and ead (same day)

no, they weren’t in same envelope. the EAD combo card was in a USPS envelope (priority mail) and the SSN was in an envelope from the SSA office. also, the Social security card had the date sep 30th on it. so it seems whenever the EAD is approved, the ssa produces the ssn right away or next day and then mails it.

on Wednesday I check the uscis app and it told me my new card has being produced and on Thursday it told me again my i-765 EAD was approved.... what next h h?

@ann-marie next step is waiting for card to be mailed (this might happen this Saturday or Monday) - if you have informed delivery it will show you that a package is coming. Once USPS has the card it will take them 1-3 days to deliver it.

yes most likely Tuesday/Wednesday :) since Monday is a holiday

@Ann Marie you can start working with it since that is all you need (the EAD + ssn). as for state Id/driver’s license, you can apply for them as well, however, you don’t need them for work. And the EAD acts as ID as well.

@ann-marie it should come by Monday, if it doesn’t then call your local SSA office and ask them if they sent you an SSN - if they didn’t then you would need to schedule an appointment with them and go there in person to apply for an ssn.

@ann Marie it should have arrived - call the SSA office and ask if they sent you an SSN. they will ask for your information to verify and will tell you if they did or not and if they haven’t then they will make an appointment for you to go to the SSA office and request an SSN in person.
