Curiosity - Have anyone lost his Combo card in abroad while Wava is pending?
Hi friends,
I was thinking today what if the worst comes and I lose my Advance Parole card when I’m in another country.
Have anyone experienced this? in this case does that mean that we are stuck either in our home country or in another country during whatever the processing time or is there a way to reach out to an American Embassy or USCIS go get new card in the same week?
please let me know. thanks.

I definitely suggest not losing it based on the fact that you cannot request Advanced parole while being outside of the US. But since you got it here, you could request a replacement (you have to pay for it) but you would have to wait for them to send a new one to your US address (who knows how long that will take) and then get someone to send it to you in your home country.

yeah I always keep it safe when I travel but things happen and I wonder if you lose it, does that mean end of your American dream lol there should be a way ? @JoJo JoJo

@Ivan b yeah i totally understand because i thought about it myself as well. i actually lost my first EAD dec. 2022. before i could even use it so that’s how i began researching. but yeah basically the scenario i proposed earlier is the only way. once you are outside the US, you are at your own risk.
