It’s very good sign. After I submit my RFE-medical. Fingerprint were taken again. and in the end my case is approved. I have seen many cases: it look like the fingerprints, uscis put on the Green Card.

@Gc 0321 my case remains pending since july 2022 and on sept 4 2025 case was updated to fingerprint were taken.. no rfe and nothing till now ..

It happen with my spouse case. his case is updated today “On sep 4, 2025 fingerprints were taken” I don’t know why it pop up today but not on Sep 4. he submitted the medical on July 15, 2025.

@Gc 0321 I did my medical on june 2025 before new i693 form released..I am waiting for rfe .. I think that would be still valid to send .. isn't it ??

@Gc 0321 your case is very close to mine. pd 2/2021. rfe for medical exam submitted on July 14. Fingerprint reapplied and now crp. Lately just got the same rfe for medical exam not sure if they lost the fisrt one.

@Jay N they lost my first medical. My pd is March 2021. Your case is almost there.

@Jay N yes, first RFE-medical is after I took the interview. And they lost it, denied my case, then case reopened. and then I was asked for RFE-2nd medical. I will update the whole process when my card is deliveried🥹.

@Shweta P My case was updated to “Fingerprints were taken” after I sent my medical exam. The next action depends on the officer handling your case. it could be an interview or just an approval. There isn’t a definite answer for that, so it’s just a matter of waiting.

@Shweta P you might get an rfe along with interview notice else you might just get the rfe for medical and approval after submission you just got the fingerprint update wait for the officer to open your file and then they will proceed with further action just waiting game
