CRP since last 1 year PD current but no progress
Hi
Anyone with priority date Oct 2021 EB1 country India and still pending with CRP status ?
My case went CRP in August 2023 when dates retrograde last year. But dates became current since July 2024 but no update since then.
Created Service Request twice in last 3 months but it was responded with "Case is under review and you will receive update shortly" for both SRs.
I am out of any clues what should I do as chatting with Emma really doesn't help. Case is really straightforward and medicals were submitted with application. with dates being current for so long, it should just get approved without any delays.

@P N which field office your case is at ? might get picked up next time date advances. date is constant for last many months and guess there are lot of incoming applications with dates prior than yours.

@P N Try the mandamus path suing USCIS? it will put pressure on them to make decision asap. also EB1 is supposed to be moving much faster and lawyers who specialize in litigation will be happy to take a case pending for 1 year and date being current now

I had my fingerprints early July then CRP end of July. If the case is at NBC , would you ask the congressman based on your mailing address ?

thank you all for your comments. @K K My case is beyond normal processing time posted so I opened SRs in the past. But response was same. thinking of reaching out via Senator of our state soon

@Joe joe yes call your Senators local office. they gave me some forms to fill via email after I spoke to them
P NNov 12, 2024
@D G my case is still at NBC. last year it was at Field office stagnant for 4 months before date was retrograde. when status became CRP it went back to NBC and pending there since

@bm sa that's right but some case with later PD which are current getting adjudicated so not sure if they really process in queue
P NNov 12, 2024
@salome k if your case is beyond normal processing time then you can first create a service request online from USCIS account. it allows you to create once you enter receipt date of your application. For NBC it takes your local field office average processing time and if receipt date is older than that then allows you to create service request. if USCIS doesn't give you update on service request then think of reaching out to Congress person

@alterego g yes they mentioned last week it was reviewed. the same date when I received response to the SR. so not sure what they reviewed and still reviewing
P NNov 12, 2024
@lqurbal aldrin some field offices suck. mine was at Providence RI last year and they did nothing for 4 months and then dates retrograde for me. the processing times for that FO was more than 4 months so I couldn't do service request either
P NNov 12, 2024
@bm sa I think not just PD but date of filing and where your case is located matters. NBC is ocean and once cases go back this that pool guess they just take time to be picked up again

Today I sent a request to Senator Office and they have contacted local field office right away. will keep you all posted on the outcome. please let your prayers coming in for some good news 🙏
