You’ve been current since July 1 — just a little over a month. That’s really not a long time, and this kind of wait is completely normal these days. A lot of people have waited much longer. I know it’s frustrating, but try to be patient. It’s still very early in the process.

My PD is February 2021. It’s really painful to see others get approved even though their PD is after mine.

some where I read that each country gets only 700 out of 10000 per year in unskilled category. not sure if it’s correct. I been following some country’s approvals. for nepal i see March and April of 2021 getting I-485 approved. may be that’s why yours is still pending. it’s just my opinion and my own research not the fact.

My pd is Sep 2021 and NBC. I recently got RFE notice and submitted. It seems they are working in a proper speed and you will be get an update updates soon!

pd June 2021 last update was finger prints re used 2 weeks ago that’s all nothing yet hope soon

@r s because they has interviewed before they become current. Look at your case, still nothing, only fingerprints, no transfer to another office, no interview before. That’s why uscis need more time to review all informations about your case. Do you understand? Keep patient my friend, still too early

@r s get help from Congress, Uscis will find your case and process it.

@r s because when you get help from Congress, Congress will be request uscis and uscis will have a special team to handle congress, court cases...e-request just normal !

@Shweta P do you live in Red or blue state?Idk how much that would effect! but congressman in Chicago are quick, they responded to my request in less than week. you can try bugging them, call emails what not

On Aug 5 2025, morning i got email from Senator, they submitted inquiry the USCIS and mention that they let me know as soon as they receive an update also noted please allow 30 days for a response. In your case How long does it take for USCIS to respond to an inquiry submitted by a member of Congress on your behalf?

well Atleast September Visa Bulletin isn't retrogression or unavailable.. Eventhough officially current since July 1 2025 .. case is pending at NBC and no update which is fking ridiculous..
