im peruvian . i lived in Spain for 7 years (2004 to 2010, and I have not returned to Spain) and I obtained my criminal record in December 2022 and sent it to the CEAC.

@juan carlos A, are you DQed already? If yes, you should take the original copy of the criminal record submitted to NVC to the interview. You can make a copy along too. No need for update.

Civil Documents for the applicant. See Documents the Applicant Must Submit for more specific information about documentation requirements, including information on which documents may need to be translated. The consular officer may ask for more information during your visa interview. Bring your original civil documents (or certified copies) such as birth and marriage certificates, as well as legible photocopies of the original civil documents, and any required translations to your immigrant visa interview. Original documents and translations can then be returned to you

@juan carlos A May I know whether you are submitting your documents within or outside the US? Is it necessary to provide Police Clearance certificates for submission within the USI have lived in two different countries before moving to the US - one for a year and another for 3.5 years.

@Ld w yes i know it, my question is: Should I update my police record from a country in which I lived and did not return? Or is it enough for me to bring to the interview the ones I took a year and a half ago?
