C PJul 31, 2021
if u dont mind can you please
explain me why did u file both i-130 and i-129? does it speed up the process?
J PJul 31, 2021
I don’t know does it helps to precess faster or not but when I saw California processing time is near to 23 months I have sumbmitted K3 as well as I thought it will might speed up my NVC procrss. but honestly I have applied becuase I felt I may receive approval soon
C PJul 31, 2021
we filed i-130 in may 2020 and my spouse is getting his citizenship next month so is there any chance we can file k3?
J PJul 31, 2021
yeah you still can apply K3 but do not forget to upgrade your I-130 and mine K3 was free USCIS has returned my money also then why not. My K3 is still pending with USCIS
C PJul 31, 2021
thank you for the help and congratulations!
J PJul 31, 2021

J PJul 31, 2021
Yes Cookie, I have mailed my I-129F
at Texas lockbox
J PJul 31, 2021
Are you US Citizen Cookie82 S
J PJul 31, 2021
Its exactly same as your I-130 except few questions
J PJul 31, 2021
if you have copy of your I 130 then it’s 1 hour of work
Madison SchwartzJul 31, 2021
wait, so why did you file both a fiancé visa and a marriage? Arent you supposed to file I-130 after you get married with your 1-129F?
J PJul 31, 2021
@Madison, No its not required or mandatory. its optional for sure but I have applied both becuase California was showing processing time as 23 months and K3 helps to expedite NVC process thats why I have applied both
Madison SchwartzJul 31, 2021
I can't tell, so did your 1-130 process before your 1-129f? or did your 1-129f only take 68 days?
J PJul 31, 2021
yes your I-129F requiring approved I 130. yes my I 130 got approved and I 129F is still pending becuase I have applied pretty late
J PJul 31, 2021
@Cookie82 S no I just got an Approval that’s it. I did not even receive any email from NVC. i just got approval on last friday thats it
J PJul 31, 2021
thanks
J PJul 31, 2021
I have submitted NOA1 of my I-130 and naturalization certificate and visa fees and of course I-129F application. I don’t know whether it really helped me to speed up my case becuase my K3 is still pending no updates at all but you know you should try never know their processes. I just wanted to do one extra step to make my self less depressed
J PJul 31, 2021
so cookie82 S. you are a beneficiary right and you are in USA already right?
J PAug 1, 2021
