CR1: NVC Confusion
My husband and I recently had our USCIS case accepted and sent to the NVC. I have heard different opinions on the income requirements, and I’m hoping to hear other’s opinions. Such as, if only the most prevous year’s income matters? Or do they want all 3 of the previous years to be above the poverty line? If the 2nd or 3rd previous year’s income didn’t meet the line requirement, will that cause any issue with the NVC? Will they ask about the 3 previous years income at the interview as well? I’ve heard that only the 1st previous year is what matters, but I am unsure and want to avoid any possible delays in processing.

@C D , as far as I know, they only care about the most recent tax return.
