Cr1 interview Dublin Ireland
interview - Aug 1st @ 7:45 am
I was the first in all the officials where extremely lovely! I was very nervous so they tried to help relax me.
documents checked (birth cert marriage cert police certificates and passport was all they requested)
waited for about an hour and a half to get called up for my interview. interview was not what I expected and was asked an array for strange question a lot about my travel history and my husbands 2023 work ( as we were back and forth between countries he didn’t make enough to file taxes) so he seemed to have raised red flags. No approval on the spot (heart breaking) I was sent away with a 221g for more evidence of domicile and a joint sponsor affidavit of support ( we had a I-864 A and he wanted just the joint sponsor as I-864) and lots of tears but the officer did say that once he received the documents he would sign off and issue the visa!
the interview was about 10-15 mins in total.
uploaded the extra evidence he requested that evening and the next day Friday 2nd went into administrative processing. Bank holiday weekend bummer but Wednesday the 7th of August my visa changed from admin processing to ISSUED!!!!
so only two business days until I received the approval ❤️
waiting to pick up passport hopefully this week and get on the next flight home to my hubby and our babies ❤️🐾🐶
