IR-1 Montreal CAN interview - approved and visa issued ❤️🇺🇸😎😍🇨🇦
Great experience… All went smooth for me and others today that had their documents (ORIGINALS !!!) in order. make sure you upload recent year income tax docs, that your RCMP certificate is the correct one ( one with bar code and no photos or fingerprints on it) , birth certificate, marriage certificate , divorce decree (s) if any, etc…. All must be originals or certified copies - same as what you uploaded to NVC. if that’s all in order, interview part is a breeze and easy. Staff were kind, patient and smiling reassuringly the entire time. CEAC already updated and status shows as “ISSUED”. It will take up to 10 business days to get passport back with a stamp. Good luck to all of you guys and please don’t lose hope… It’s happening to you too, sooner than you think and before you know it, this entire process will just be a distant memory. I feel like a mountain fell off my shoulders today and so will you soon my friends … Grateful to Lawfully and all of you for keeping me sane and not feeling like I’m the only one … Love to all of you ❤️❤️❤️
UPDATE: Passport with visa stamp received today (April 24-2024) !! Two days after the interview! 🙃🇺🇸

please with divorce decree can the applicant print out all the pages on ceac to the interview?

or you only need the original from your spouse

@still waiting 🙏🙏🙏 you should have originals or certified copies of the divorce decree(s). You can print copies that were uploaded, but you are running a risk of them not being able to verify originals in person. Better safe than sorry …

@K B how much time did it take for your documents to get verified? i was hoping applying from canada would take much less time compared to applying from India. i would have to fly out for my medical and interview coz there is none in my province
