Court hearing for I-485
Has anyone adjusted their I-485 application in front of an immigration judge with an approved I-130? What questions does the judge ask during the hearing? How long does the hearing last assuming there are no criminal records? Is the US spouse required to be at the hearing? and is the spouse asked any questions?

Hearing lasts less than 15 minutes. Basically you will be asked questions from your I-485 application. Maybe 2 random questions about your family (spouse/children). Spouse can go if they want to but it’s not mandatory.

@ola Wellington my brother went without his spouse. USCIS attorney asked where his wife was. He said she was at home( she takes medication that make her sleepy)

His attorney said not to explain anything. so short answer was “ she’s at home.”

From my research, (thanks to the wonderful people on lawfully)the spouse is not asked any questions.
