Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It
Hello family, I received an update 7 days ago. Back in April 2022, I sent form and proofs together. I believe the correspondence they’re referring to is about that, since I haven’t sent anything else. Do you have any other thoughts? Also, how long do you think it will take before I get another update?

my case in from July 2023, and it was updated on August 7th 2024, with the same status without me sending any correspondence after the initial submission, and nothing changed since then. it's been 14 months, after extensive research I could conclude that it's an internal update (like biometric confirmation, internal movement of your file from one officer to other, or correspondence from another officer) this update simply means that your case is at the processing officer and it could be anytime that your approval or outcome might come. so, I would suggest to stay put and see when and where it takes you. I have received 3 PFDs, 2 after this status update. my case status here at lawfully shows as "processing"

@k d most of the petitions are at SCOPS center. Which means whichever center is available to take up the case. it will. VSC is not processing most of the I 360 applications anymore.

@Ashraf Ahmed okay so my case is at the Vermont processing center when I filed back in Feb 2024 it was transferred there I never received any other update that it moved from there so I’m guessing they will process mine

@k d yes. mine is in Vermont as well but now they process it under SCOPS.SCOPS is the Service Center Operations Directorate at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), which manages the processing of various immigration benefit requests at USCIS Service Centers across the country. The directorate has a headquarters office and five main service centers (California, Nebraska, Texas, Potomac, and Vermont) that handle applications and petitions that do not require in-person interviews or extensive case-specific processing. SCOPS aims to provide efficient, timely, and high-quality services while maintaining the integrity and security of the U.S. immigration system.
