I really hope you get positive response. So sorry to hear such news about your mom, really hope everything works out for the best.

With my husband’s I-131, I filed and mailed everything in as soon as we heard about his grandmother’s passing. I wasn’t sure how long that would have taken because I did not receive a receipt letter so I went on the USCIS website and request an appointment then I was called the following day. I filled out a request form the Sunday night. After, we were granted just a month on his AP and we went and came back. I got an email that they have taken action on our case and I thought it was on the I-130/I-485 only to see that the I-131 was approved. I really suggest you try and see if you can be accommodated as a result of your mom’s current health. I wrote a letter and everything when I made the submission.

@B B Hi, thank you for sharing with me and I am sorry for your loss. My father died in June and I got an emergency parole for 1 month. My mother went to the doctor saying her chest and back hurt. She found out at the beginning of September that she has multiple myeloma blood cancer and stage 4 bone cancer. I applied right when she was diagnosed and was denied. I am getting a letter from her oncologist with the updates of her cancer. I hope the congressman can help. She starts treatments on Thursday.

I really hope you can get some help from them and don't put attention to the comments that say you to chill out, we've all been there and the way you handle it is ur choice .. I try to keep myself busy and away from this app and everything related to immigration but sometimes the anxiety is overwhelming.. I actually decided not to pay the premium version anymore, so I understand you a 100% ! I really hope you get any of ur documents sooner than expected!

@Kingsley B , hey if you still stress for the 90 day rule so I want to tell you, you are absolutely fine and no need to worried about it, because I was also in the same category and I always thought I will be denied becuse we married within a month after i entered the united state but they approved our case last month after 22 months of filling and after 1 month of our 2nd marriage anniversary and I got 10 years green card, so i would say use your sources on the right time not early to waste.

this process can cause depression and anxiety waking up everyday hopeful that today might be the day when you finally receive a notification that an action has been taken only for the day to end and then hope for some luck the next day especially that you having a sick mother back home and feeling stuck here, I really empathize with you, just know that we are all in this together and our days shall come also. you can call a live agent and hopefully I think they will approve another emergency parole for you

@mariam T I wake up everyday with hope for it only to not be fulfilled. I do feel stuck here at times but also greatful. It is a weird give and take feeling. The day will come for everyone on here.
