Congressional Inquiry.
Looking for your help. My i485 case was put in a ‘Case Remaining Pending’ status even though my PD is current. I reached to my congressman and he inquired on my behalf. After 28 days, USCIS responded indicating that they have requested my files and an officer will review my files. Did any one of you had to go through this? if so, can you please share your experience and tell how long does USCIS take to review this?

One of the reason your status is CRP even though your PD is current is that the max allocation visa of your country is already maxed out which is 7% per country.

@Saher Mohammed seems like your case is approved. congrats! When did USCIS say that they have requested your files and an officer will review? how long did it take after that to get approved?

yes. it was approved yesterday afternoon. on June 28th USCIS requested my files. yesterday they approved it.
