Seems people don't understand that Congress/Senate/Ombudsman etc - they cannot force USCIS to do anything, the only thing they can do is inquire about the case, and in most cases - they get the same response from USCIS as regular people do (just copy paste) You can sue USCIS for a delayed case on your own, you will get a decision within 60 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it, and to get assistance with it "Writ of Mandamus Pro Se"

@DJ Rez how long after you can sue uscis my I-485 cross 20 months in 26 April so I need to wait for 2 years our just sue them no case just actively reviewing and no interview nothing?????

@Singh USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ It's all personal. For example, there are people who sued after 6 months of applying and got approvals, they had good records, case and they wrote how they are suffering because of the delay... there are no laws that give minimum time to sue. There are "rules" that judges like to see at least 12 months wait after you apply.
