Concurrent Filling F2A - expected decision soon?
Hi All, I have i-485 & i-130 pending since last year Sep 2021. (I got EAD and AP approved in May 2022) I-485 has been actively reviewed since Nov 2021. I-130 just got an update that is being reviewed after being "case received" status over 14 months. Do you think I should expect a decision sooner? Has anyone gotten similar changes? #AOS #F2A #Boise #i-130 #i-485

yes i did find i-130 approval notice.. should i expect i-485 decision soon? my interview was waived back in July.

congrats @abhinav!! what is your field office and service center? do you know if the case was approved directly from the service center or was moved to the local field office before approval ?

boise, id field office i talked to emma agent last month, i was told that my case was moved to field office on 11/29/2022

thanks @abhinav. seems like Boise i485 wait time is 25.5 months and you got the approval in about 15 months. which is great. Gives some hope to me as my field office is San Francisco with 29.5 months wait time. I am assuming your case was at National Benefits Center (NBC) before getting moved to Boise?

yes.. from what I understood by talking to multiple times of emma agents that NBC completes the background checks first; then case is sent to FO. and they make the decision regarding interviews. if interview is not needed and medicals are already there then case is approved. regarding wait times, it was 15 months before last fww months

thanks and congrats again! just checking @Abhinav, was this the only i485 you had for the spouse or was there an Employment based i485 that was pending as well separately?
