@Kay Lee hi I waited for a about a week. But I kept faxing them twice a day just in case they didn’t receive it. and yes I applied for EAD expedite but they approved my i131 as well! saw that happen for quite a few people recently :)

what did the letter include? @Annie L under what basis did you request an expedite?

@paula n Hi the letter is basically explaining my dire need to get a job, without an EAD I can’t get a license, etc.

Did you send expedite request before or after your biometrics?

How do I make the expedite? Do I have to call them first?

@Annie L I just got through and I did get a inquiry number and and date that I Will heard from them to submit documents. I guess the agent I spoke to this morning didn’t understand

first of all CONGRATZ!! do you think credit card statements are better or checking account with small amount of balance is effective for a evidence? by mentioning bills, did you mean phone bill, or utility bills on your name?

@Fulya C G hi thank you! I think either would work, but if you have a lot of money on the debit card it might be less effective. As for bills I used insurance and utility receipts since they don’t do bills, and I took screenshots of our monthly rent

Not heard about it. but got an RFE on 485 still waiting for notice. rank changed on lawfully, seems like lot of them got their cases moved forwad who filed close to my PD. I also noticed this in case tracker app where you can scan upto 500 cases at a time.

@CR Walker yes, it is medical revieewed online. but no updates on any other petetions. not sure what is happening with i130

@Vee V my friend got RFE for medical and when he submitted it then his I-130 was approved so keep the faith that you will be lucky as well

@CR Walker The onlh think to think about is mine says “Request for *INITIAL* Evidence”

@Vee V If it’s a request for initial evidence then it’s something that is missing from your application for example marriage certificate, birth certificate or they might need you to redo your I-864

@CR Walker they sent me it for the medical, i dint send the medical reports at the time of filing.

I am currently working with H1B visa but husband cannot work as he doesn't have work authorization so I am the only one who gets paid in our family. The problem is he doesn't have a credit card. Can we use our utility bills, lease as a proof or we need more evidence?
