guys regarding renewal of EAD card , got big confused. I applied for renewal on Jan23 , than on March got the new notice paper from uscis , my lawyer said this is your renewal, but here someone said uscis issued them a new card . really don’t know what’s going on. could someone explain ti me ? thanks

@hope hope i had a combo card which is the EAD+Advanced Parole. if you only applied for the EAD then you only get the card with the employment authorization. but i had one for both work+travel. Did you get a new EAD card or just the notice?

@hope hope hmmm i suggest talking to your lawyer to clarify about the notice. they definitely are issuing new cards so i am assuming you should have gotten one since you did a renewal
