Combo approved! My misery is over! Don't give up!
I can't describe how happy I am because I'm now 14 months out of employment. Finally I can work again 😭. I expedited 4 times Emma, 1 time tier 1, 3 times through congressional inquiries, 1 time ombudsman, and finally 1 time through tier 2. I got it today and I'm crying. Thank you so much for the support from the lawfully community! I'll be updating my 485 progress too!

@Belle: That’s great. That’s why I like this forum. You get to have a good idea about the trends. Congrats again.

@Belle: I also realized with your experience that it makes sense for them to approve primary applicant first before dependent because if primary is not approvable, they won’t approve dependent.

Thank you Sassy! It does make sense they have to approve the primary first. It's also nice that if you expedite one you get both primary and dependent approved

@Belle: I can’t say it’s a rule lol, but I see that happened with many people here.

@Hazal I think it made a difference for me! Because i asked tier 2 Why my expedite request was denied before, She gave me a very detailed explanation and that was how I realized uscis made a mistake in my expedite reason. So I explained again and the officer put in a new request for me. But at the same time, I have congressional inquiries going on so... I'm not 100% sure
B
Belle MMar 9, 2022
@Sassy yeah it's funny we can only "guess" how uscis works
