Combo approved- case closed
Hello Lawfully Fam,
My EAD and travel document were approved today- reached out to Emma when I saw “Case closed”. The case status didn’t change though- Both of these were in NBC.
My other two forms- I-130 and I-485 are in Denver’s FO, after the interview was waived when I-485 was in MN’s FO and transferred on June 26th. Any idea if these two open forms will get approved faster now that the combo is approved? Hope vs reality lol

congratulations 🎉 same but all of my cases are at NBC, card arrived 14days after approval. update will appear when “card is produced”

@Kimberly L🇹🇹 that's not true. USCIS is simply very slow these days. The first update after Approval is "Card Being Produced", It takes couple of days for production, after its production, the next update "Card Produced", so once it's produced it takes less than 3 days to arrive at your mail.

I think they’re unrelated unfortunately. my EAD was approved 13 days after submission and crickets on everything else for 3 months.
how do you find out what office your case is at?

@w s your Service Center is @ NBC, so when U chat with a Live Agent via Emma, they will let U know where your case is.

@Karan L I’m still waiting for 130 and 485 after 96 days. 🙃 I wish I was one of those “under 3 months” but honestly I’m just grateful I can work for now because I had a job offer but couldn’t start for months because I had to apply.

@w s I see. Yeah I used to think people who get their approvals in less than 3 months are just fake. But, I guess it does depend which assessing officer’s pile your application falls in and what mood she/he is in lol. So, it’s our destiny.

@Karan L What's the point of approving your your i-130 and i-485 faster then your i-131 and i-765?
In that case though they are in different service centers, you would have just gotten your GC first as the rest would not be needed.
