Citizenship for EB Green Card
There are different options regarding applying for citizenship from employment based green card holders. Apparently, USCIS will ask for proof of employment with sponsoring company. Any recent experience? Do you need to show paystub and W2 from that company? Additionally, what if the salary doesn’t match to the approved PWD, will it be a problem? Thanks everyone!

if they pay less than the approved amount then you should demand for a raise right? its illegal for them to do so

for citizenship you need to send the last 5 years of employment history. depending on when you apply for naturalization, your sponsored employee might be/not be in the mix.
what they are looking for is that you were a lawful resident continuously and paid your taxes, not your salary match.

This is interesting and good!
However, could you please point us to any relevant US government resources, backing this information.
Something like an evidence to support this information, so that we can learn more.
Thanks so much.

this is on the requirements on the naturalization form which should be available online. I have not gotten there yet so I’ll worry about that when the time comes.
my partner did must go through naturalization and this is the documentation that was requested. it’s more of a hassle to get your entire travel history than this you’re asking for.

@VCN EB thanks for the sharing your thoughts on this. I just recently received my GC and I was told that the salary match might be an issue when I applied for citizenship. Like you, I have not gotten there yet but I’m preparing myself because I’m already employed with the sponsored company but the salary is not the same as approved PWD.

@LM F again, I would nor worry about that. whomever had that experience, is a question asked ad hoc, not a norm. probably posted on a forum.
