@amro gibril things are going to change under Trump and the processing will definitely slow down. DV lottery might not be around, asylum seekers will face difficulties and they are talking about not taking new applications as long as there’s a backlog… guess what? the backlog won’t go away anytime soon. Funds allocated to the uscis will be moved to ICE and USCIS will potentially be guttered…. I’m also hoping to get my things done prior the crazies arrival… they have issues with illegal but legal immigration will be greatly impacted too. And if you come from a country that is flagged it will be even more difficult. I wish us good luck! I applied about 150 days ago for my N400 and still nothing, while a 751 has been being processed for 512 days now…

i plan on submitting my n400 after trump's term eventhough I am eligible to file in 2026. I am just scared to file so instead of doing the three yr filing i will complete the five years wait.

@John Smith yea brother I totally feel that cause that’s exactly what happened and in his first term in office am expecting things to be even more difficult this time around it’s just totally unbelievable that they play with peoples lives like that!!!! we kinda in the same boat the I submitted the I 751 more than a year ago and the N400 like 19 days ago so it’s recent! I thought it would be better to be submitted now cause I know he will be changing the forms and the application fees !!! I wish you all the best of luck to get it all processed before January u almost there and kinda have a better chance to get it done before he is back in !! and good luck for All of us in this never ending struggle.
