It simply makes no sense to ask people who are waiting for AOS about this. It is like going to a coffee shop and asking for pizza.

@pd Mar 2022 They changed the rules awhile back. I think only deployed service members get to qualify for fast track and it’s no longer 1 year fast track.

the best you can do is to call the recruiter near you and ask. he/she will answer your questions nicely. Shouldn’t overthink too much, they need you more than you need them so ask whatever you need. People here just give you their 2 cents so shouldn’t take it seriously.

if you really want your citizenship fast then go for military route. you will probably get your citizenship before graduating boot camp. if not then probably wait 5 years. You can also join as reserve which means you can have a civilian life and side by side military job. best of luck

@sam young Thank you, i was thinking if anyone can share their experience. That’s a good idea, i heard stories people even didn’t finish bootcamp and they got their citizenship because they applied during and they gave up didn’t graduated.
