Changing the job after GC & Naturalization
Hi, what’s the implication on naturalization if one changes the job shortly after receiving the green card ?
I have seen some advice that says to wait for at least six months after getting the GC before changing the job, otherwise there will be a question at the naturalization interview.
But no one spelled out what the implication really is. Would it be just a matter of answering why I changed the job & how the timing coincided?

I’ve heard the same thing from a lot of people who filed for NIW and I’m wondering the same.. I wonder where they got this idea and if it’s valid. A friend said I’ll have trouble renewing my GC in the future if I switched jobs quickly because it may look like fraud..?
